The Story:
I toured the world with Riverdance as a singer for 6 years. After meeting my wife Carrie backstage in Milwaukee, we kept in touch long distance for three years. When we got married I settled in Milwaukee and have been a feature of the Irish Scene here since 2001.
The Show:
I am available as a solo act or with my band "Paddygrass". In my solo show, I loop hand drums and backing vocals live, creating the sound of a band on the spur of the moment - no drum machines or electronic loops. I then add banjo, harmonica and lead vocals. The crowd loves this because they see it happen "live" and it's different every time. My band Paddygrass is a collective of incredible musicians, a journey through Ireland's influence on Bluegrass and Gospel. This band is my dream come true - An Irish jam band combining multiple influences ready for any musical occasion. Paddygrass performs as a duo, a six piece or anywhere in between. The Music:
My music is kickass, celtic, bluegrass. My mission is to move people to sing, dance and forget all else. Each show is built around an ever shifting groove that sets the heart and soul pumping. My original songs are inspired by the love of my wife and children and my love for Ireland. I blend Irish sing alongs with bluegrass, gospel and acoustic covers from the 60's and 70's.
